Partnering with QMUNITY to Discuss Constructive Dismissal and Harassment

In May, Paula (she/her), PortaLaw cofounder and lawyer, partnered with QMUNITY and the QMUNITY Legal Clinic to present a virtual workshop on constructive dismissal and workplace harassment.

The session explored how bullying and harassment can impact the employment relationship, when workplace conduct may give rise to constructive dismissal, and some of the legal principles that employees should be aware of when navigating difficult workplace situations.

We are grateful to QMUNITY for the opportunity to contribute to this important conversation and to support access to legal information for 2SLGBTQQIA+ communities and allies.

QMUNITY has published a detailed recap of the workshop, including key takeaways and resources.
